  SKYCARD INSTALLATION GUIDE

 

  How to install a Sky Card on Windows & MacOs

 
   Windows Installation
     

      Operating system:  Windows (XP, Vista and 7-32 bit)

 
  Insert the WIMAX Sky Card into an open computer’s USB port.  The Sky Card will self-install.  Simply follow the automatic installation instructions.  WIMAX Sky Card Modem will install all necessary drivers and software.
  Once installation is completed, double click on the BlueskyCM icon created on the desktop.
  Click on the menu.
  Enter the user name and password provided to you by the service provider and save.
  Click on “Connect”.  The word “Connected” will show on the main screen.
 
 

 

 
       Operating system:  Windows  7 – 64 bit
 
  Click here to download drivers to your computer.
  Double click on the WIN7_64.zip file.  Unzip it to your local drive.
  Insert the WIMAX Sky Card into an open computer’s USB port.  The Sky Card will self-start.  A message will appear to self-installed.  Close this window.
  Double click on Autorun.exe (found in the directory that you unzipped the files to in step 2).  Simply follow the automatic installation instructions.  WIMAX Sky Card Modem will install all necessary drivers and software.
  Once installation is completed, double click on the BlueskyCM icon created on the desktop.
  Click on the menu.
  Enter the user name and password provided to you by the service provider and save.
  Click on “Connect”.  The word “Connected” will show on the main screen.

   Mac Installation
  Do not attach your sky card yet !!
  Opperating system:  Mac (Leopard 10.5, Snow Leopard 10.6 or higher).
  Click here to download Install_BLUESKY_V01.01.0003  to your Mac hard drive.
  Double click on the file Install_BLUESKY_V01.01.0003.pkg and follow instructions.
  Do not attach your Sky Card yet !!
  The Computer will re-start after installation.  If it does not start automatically, restart it manually
  Once the Mac computer is re-started, copy the 2 remaining files (that were unzipped to folder Mac_Drivers) to /Applications/BLUESKY directory.  If you are asked to replace existing filed, click “Yes”.
  Restart your computer.
  Attach the sky card.
  Go to applications and find the Bluesky directory /Applications/BLUESKY , and then click on WimaxCM.app.  The window below will appear after it shows finding device, searching and then it will show “READY CONNECT”.
 

 
  Go to the Menu and choose Connection Settings. The following window will show.
 

 
  Enter ID and password provided to you by the service provider.
  Click “OK“.
  And then click on Connect on the main Sky Card screen.
  The screen below will appear.
